"Aspire for something more than just comfort. Comfort is the quickest way for you to kill your dreams."
What are three words you’d use to describe how you want your office to feel?
Cozy, inspiring, bespoke
What makes your home office the best place to work? And why is having this space important to you?
I've managed to get it to a point where it makes it very efficient and inspiring for me to work in. I think having a workspace that inspires and motivates you will translate to the type of work you put out. You feel good and you do good work. Win-win!
What does your office say about you?
I think my office feels inviting and cozy. I would like people to associate that with my personality as well. Maybe not the cozy part.
"I think having a workspace that inspires and motivates you will translate to the type of work you put out."
What were your inspirations when designing this space?
I wanted it to have a warm feeling and not feel too clean and sterile. Honestly, the sunset is my inspiration. I like that warm, orange glow that fills the room at the end of the day. I wanted the look and feel of the office to exude that same emotion.
What element of your office is indispensable?
My window. I find it difficult to work in a completely closed-off space.
What kind of audio do you listen to in your home office?
I love podcasts! My taste in music varies so it would be hard to recommend a particular one. I do recommend The Futur podcast with Chris Do. And yes, the Futur is spelled without an "e" at the end.
Lastly, what’s your #1 career tip?
Aspire for something more than just comfort. Comfort is the quickest way for you to kill your dreams.
